Mariscos La Marea: Authentic Mexican Seafood in Dallas, TX

Seafood was delicious and fresh. Portions were large. Service was attentive. Pricing was good. Environment was ample and typical. Will return. Music was loud when returned. Many families with children.

Very good food, very authentic and a good experience. Great atmosphere and the waitresses are very nice. This was my first time going and I felt very welcomed throughout my meal. Will be back again, great place to stop by and grab a bite to eat.

This place is very hyped! The food is fresh and the DJ plays great music. 2/$10 shots! It is loud so it’s more good food while jamming out. Service was fast. Birthday are well celebrated here as well. I will be back for my bday.Feb

They have karaoke and drink specials after 7pm Margarita sangria swirl was the best drink to me out of that and piña colada and michelada. My friends had Apple martini and White Russian which they said was delicious. I also had the large Cóctel de camarón and it was great.

It was a great experience, the food was delicious and there were big portions. My wife had their oysters and I had their fried steak. There was a lady who was taking photos and we got a great photo for our date that was framed 10/10

Went here night time on a weekend so it is typically a bit harder parking wise but inside was not full whatsoever! (There are clubs and party rooms next door and that's why it gets packed, Valet parking staff parks your car if thats the case, no pay, optional tip.) I got tilapia a la plancha (grilled tilapia fish, accompanied by more than generous portions of rice, salad, and fries). This place is one of the best mexican seafood places you can go to! It is pricey but for what they give you and the service, it is really worth it. The woman attending us was really kind, spoke great spanish, and came around often to ask if we needed anything! I unfortunately forgot her name though :(. Also their cheesecake us really good. Only problem is that if you like quieter environments, its definetly not for you. DJ blasts obnoxiously loud music (the music is bad, imo but they dont have DJ everyday, I think its usually in the weekends, it keeps you awake tho!) Anyways, thats all I have to say. Oh and also I have gone to their Lancaster location, also really good, a bit smaller + the service is a bit better here.

This seafood spot is really solid and I’d give it four stars. The food is fresh and flavorful, especially the shrimp and fish dishes. I tried a few different items and everything was well seasoned and cooked just right. Portions are pretty generous too, so you definitely get your money’s worth. The atmosphere is casual and lively, which makes it a good spot for hanging out with friends or grabbing a quick bite. The bar area is nice if you want to have a drink while waiting for your food, and they have a good selection of drinks to choose from. Service was friendly and attentive, though it got a little slow during peak hours. The staff did their best but it felt a bit crowded and hectic at times. The restaurant itself is clean and comfortable, but parking can be a little tricky depending on what time you go. I also wish there were a few more shaded outdoor seating options, but inside seating is fine. Overall, it’s a great place for tasty seafood in a relaxed environment. Not perfect, but really enjoyable, and I’d definitely go back. It’s the kind of place where the food makes up for any minor inconveniences, and it’s worth checking out if you’re in the area and craving seafood.

Best ceviche I have had in a while. They had Mariachis playing there when we arrived and a DJ after. Food was great. Very unique place. They have a full stage so my guess is they have awesome parties. Beautiful waitresses, and hostesses who all had make-up on for Halloween.
